We not only offer training in the latest fashions and techniques in hair, but we also include, skin care, nail care and business strategies in our cosmetology program.
Students begin by learning the fundamental elements required of the sciences, concentrate on developing skills and accuracy, and gain an introduction to retailing, customer service and state laws, rules and regulations. As you progress through the program, students will be introduced to the salon environment on the clinic floor, attend advance classes and ultimately focus on the skills necessary to initiate a successful career: client retention, time management, goal setting, retailing and self-promotion.

EQUIPMENT, TEXTBOOKS & SUPPLIES
Equipment, textbooks, and supplies furnished by the school for use by each enrolled student are included in the list below. These become the property of the student. The student will be responsible for replacing lost or damaged equipment and materials.
GRADUATION & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Upon successful completion of 2,100 hours (60 weeks), all academic requirements met and financial obligations satisfied or satisfactory payment arrangements made, the student will be issued a diploma. Upon successfully passing the State Board Exam at a designated testing center, receiving a diploma, and applying/paying for state licensure; the student is awarded a Cosmetology License in the State of Iowa.
