Maintaining License
License renewal must be completed on a biennial basis with each renewal period beginning on April 1st and ending on March 31. Before applying for renewal, be sure you have completed a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education (2 of those must be in Iowa Law & sanitation), or more if you hold more than one license.
